[::: When Robots Sleep :::]

Wow, this new submission system really DOES knock the crap out of the old one Hooray for dA!

Now ... this is a pic that i really hoped i would be able to portray more competently. I dont think it comes across quite as i originally envisioned it.

I was thinking of the idea of a robot, all wrapped up in sheets, like it was asleep. I mean, theyd still need protection from the weather and rain and such, right? But, i thought, would a robot really cover itself up by itself? Then i thought, someone else might do it for them, which is kinda cute in itself. Then i thought, why not make them cute? So well, i just did some little pink furball things covering a robot over with sleeping sheets, trying not to wake it up. Perhaps the big robot guy looks after their city and protects it, and they never speak to eachother, but whenever he sits down to sleep, they always run around him and look after him. Change his oil and stuff, haha. I originally sketched it where his leg was blocking a railway track, and it had stopped on the tracks, with all the little pink furballs all standing around waiting for the leg to move.

But, tbh, i realised half way through that i ALWAYS frikkin default to orange and brown when it comes to colour pictures -_- and when i realised that, i just didnt want to draw it anymore.

But anyway! The idea makes me smile, even if the picture doesnt fully communicate it. Also, i wanted to add speech bubbles cos well ... i thought itd make it clearer, and it adds variety to my portfolio at least

(ps, also, the new incubus album is REALLY starting to grow 11 listens now already At least with itunes, i can actually keep track of how many times i listen to it. I listen to them A LOT more than any of my other albums!
