At some point in the last few days (i think it must have been Wednesday) i lost my pencil case! and all my bloody stuff ive had in it, and been drawing with for the last 4 years or something. Suffice to say i am quite ... unhappy about this! There is a slim chance i guess that its been handed in (i think i know when i lost it). But well ... ive been telling myself, and focusing to get onto at least my tablet.

Anyway, ive been playing a lot of DOW (warhammer 40k, Dawn of War) lately, and i like how the howling banshees stand. Like women but with freaky as hell scary screaming masks that let out this giant wail when they run into battle. Pretty cool i thought.

tbh this is nothing more than me just testing the mechanical pencil setting in painter.

have you ever thought about submitting some complete 40K work to the Warhammer people? You would be fantastic!

This is so brilliantly executed! The detail achieved without much effort is awesome! And to top it all off, the tonal values work like no other!
Congrats. Please do more in the near future!

Awww, sorry you lost your pencil case... :/ That sucks... I hope you find it. But the work is awesome :) You're very skilled with the tablet. (Man I wish I had a tablet, would probably make my digital works a lot better... Oh well) Anyway, yes, very nice. :) I've never gotten the chance to play DOW, but now that you mention it, I think I'll try and find it somewhere... Well, keep up the nice work :) Love the detail you put into each piece.

no, dont. youll become addicted. and SO frustrated when people use possessed chaos marines. theyre invincible. unless you have some yourself ...

lol great shot you got there. banshees are preety slick, but not as much as beserkers. (in terms of killin stuff.)

shame about the case. :( it may have gone to a better place, hopefully not the bin. but i doubt it's gone to an artist as good as yourself.

YES! Eldar fanart, I love you. I just got my eldar battlepack for christmas and I've been painting my army up all nice. Havent gotten any banshees yet but I will.

Anyway, I like this. You must hear it a lot but you are damned good at shading with b&w.
Anyway, although the designs on the weapons n stuff are a bit shaky (but I guess thats because you have DoW and not the tabletop version? I have no idea) but if you were just messing around with the functions in painter, then that doesn't matter at all, does it?

Btw it REALLY sucks that you lost your entire pencil case. I know I get really upset when I lose just ones eraser or pencil. I hope it turns up soon!

Wow, I've never really thought about it before... but your detailed style actual reminds me of the 40k artwork you get in the rulebooks and magazines, have you ever thought about applying for an artists position at GW?
